The Garner
Athletic Association and the Garner Flames Girls AAU Basketball
Program is excited to announce we will be celebrating our 20
Year Anniversary in 2012! Our special projects team is
planning to launch our campaign with several key events
throughout the year. We will unveil our 20 Year Anniversary
commemorative logo and slogan in early December.
The old quote
that says "Your loss is another one's gain" became very
true for the Garner Flames family. Our very own Jonas Richards
has accepted to become the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Shaw
University. For the past 15 years, Coach Jonas
has instructed advanced skills training along with agility and
fitness. Most recently, he has coached our 11th Grade
Elite team. Coach Jonas will be sadly missed.
We wish him and his family the very best!
We would like

Thank You to all of our coaches,
parents, players, and volunteers that made the Elevate Your Game Postion Camp a tremendous
success! Approximately 50 middle and high school campers
from across the state participated in an intense six hour
training session that focused on each playing
position. Good luck to each camper as they
prepare for their school tryouts!
